Call for abstracts for CCYK institutions: Sustainability and Clean Energy Poster Session (Simposio Colombia-Australia, 21 March 2024)

Undergraduate and graduate students from CCYK institutions (including UNAL) are invited to submit abstracts for the poster session at the Clean Energy and Sustainability Symposium on 21 March 2024, led by the Australian Education Department, the Regional University Network, ASCUN, CCYK and Universidad del Rosario.
Over 60 Australian and Colombian researchers will be in attendance. The selected projects will be presented by their leaders during the academic event.
Only two individuals per poster will be able to attend the symposium and introduce their research project and results to the delegation.
Submissions are encouraged on the following overarching topics:
Sustainable Agriculture and Biodiversity: Animal nutrition, farming systems research; Biodiversity survey methods, habitat restoration; Agricultural innovation, biosecurity, and sustainable aquatic systems
Connectivity Conservation and Ecology: Connectivity conservation strategies; Ecological interactions between parasitic plants and animals; Identifying and mitigating ecological consequences of climate change
Clean Energy Technologies: Regional hydrogen technology clusters, Hydrogen fuel cell and battery options for transportation, Hybrid and hydrogen technologies for railway operations
Environmental Sciences and Management: Artificial intelligence and image processing in environmental science; Earth sciences, oceanography, and forestry; Strategies for sustainable resource engineering and management
Interdisciplinary Perspectives: Bridging physical sciences, humanities, and social sciences; Exploring the nexus of philosophy, religious studies, and environmental ethics
Submission guidelines
Submit abstracts by Friday 8 March 2024 at 23:59 Colombian time (DEADLINE EXTENDED)
Limit abstracts to 500 words.
Poster dimension: 80 cm x 180 cm
Include a brief biography and contact information.
Acceptance notifications will be sent by 11 March 2024. Posters should be in English.
